La aprobación en primera discusión del Proyecto de Reforma de la Ley de Partidos Políticos, reuniones públicas y manifestaciones, permitirá la subsistencia de los partidos políticos minoritarios.
El diputado por la MUD, Juan Manuel Matheus explicó que esta reforma garantiza la participación política de la ciudadanía, garantizando la existencia de organizaciones con esos fines y mediante los cuales los venezolanos pueden expresarse.
El parlamentario explicó que el proyecto de reforma de la ley de Partidos políticos promueve el ejercicio de las organizaciones políticas tal y como lo establece la Constitución Bolivariana de Venezuela, son a su juicio, los cauces que toma la ciudadanía para formar parte de los asuntos públicos.
De tal manera, detalló el diputado Matheus, que la comisión de política interior de la AN adelantó esta reforma con la finalidad de quitarle ese peso de encima a los particos políticos, de registrarse nuevamente ante el Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE), cuando no hubieran concurrido a dos elecciones consecutivas, quitándole la penalidad de recoger el 1% de las firmas del electorado.
Esta reforma favorece en mayor parte el ejercicio de los partidos políticos, teniendo en cuenta que hay partidos fuertes, que no son cuestionados en su legalidad, concluyó.
