El día de ayer Dwayne Johnson se ha animado a compartir la primera imagen de Black Adam, supervillano y antihéroe al que interpretará en un futura película de Warner Bros bajo el sello de DC Comics.

En la imagen es revelada la fecha de estreno el 22 de diciembre de 2021. 

Dwayne Johnson compartió el concepto artístico creado por Jim Lee en compañía de un largo mensaje para sus fans.

Es de saber popular que Black Adam es el archienemigo de Shazam. Se trata de un hombre nacido en el Antiguo Egipto que durante mucho tiempo prestó sus servicios al faraón. Adam estuvo a punto de ser elegido por Shazam como heredero de sus poderes, sin embargo, las circunstancias lo tornaron corrupto y durante mucho tiempo su alma vivió atrapada en la tumba de Ramsés II hasta su posterior descubrimiento varios siglos después.

En cuanto a sus habilidades, Black Adam es un equivalente de Shazam, con exactamente los mismos poderes.

No está claro si la película de Black Adam con Dwayne Johnson será un precuela o una secuela respecto a los acontecimiento vistos en la cinta con Zachary Levi. Por otro lado, Johnson fue elegido como Adam desde 2014, sin embargo, los constantes retrasos de la producción de ¡Shazam! hicieron que la cinta del antihéroe no pisara tierra firme en mucho tiempo.

Recordemos que Shazam fue estrenado el pasado mes de abril de 2019.
