Detectives del Cicpc Anzoátegui, subdelegación El Tigre, investigan la muerte de un hombre que fue hallado detrás del mercado del municipio Simón Rodríguez, específicamente en la calle Ayacucho.
Unos transeúntes durante la mañana del domingo 1° de diciembre observaron un cadáver en la mencionada localidad y de inmediato llamaron a los oficiales de Protección Civil (PC) para alertarlos sobre el hallazgo.
Cuando los funcionarios de PC se apersonaron al sitio, identificaron al individuo como Ángel Arestigueta de 62 años de edad. La víctima no presentaba señales de violencias en su cuerpo, por lo que se presume que murió de un infarto. Sin embargo los detectives indagan sobre el hecho para determinar las causas del fallecimiento del sexagenario.
