Funcionarios policiales adscritos al Centro de Coordinación Policial Nro. 8 bajo la dirección del S/j Walter Ramírez, en un procedimiento policial a eso de las 8 y media de la noche del día lunes lograron la aprehensión de un sujeto conocido como «El Mono de Villa Marina», luego de cometer un hurto en una vivienda ubicada en Villa Marina.

La información aportada por el jefe policial del municipio Los Taques Walter Ramírez señala, que atendiendo denuncia de un hurto perpetrado en una residencia ubicada en la comunidad de Villa Marina una comisión policial se dirige al sitio logrando visualizar a la persona señalada de cometer el hecho delictivo cuando salía de un terreno baldío adyacente a la vivienda hurtada, localizando un televisor, una licuadora, un microondas y una bombona de gas, cuyos objetos fueron identificados como propiedad de la víctima, por lo que proceden a la aprehensión definitiva del sujeto que se identificó como José de 30 años de edad, residenciado en la calle Libertadores de la comunidad de Villa Marina.

El aprehendido fue puesto la orden de la fiscal auxiliar XXIII del Ministerio Público para el debido proceso.
