HBO celebrará por todo lo alto el décimo aniversario de «Juego de tronos»
HBO dedicará el mes de abril a celebrar el décimo aniversario del estreno de «Juego de tronos» con una serie de productos especiales, más de 150 vídeos inéditos y maratones temáticos de capítulos.

La plataforma televisiva anunció este lunes la iniciativa «The Iron Anniversary», que servirá como conmemoración de la primera emisión (el 17 de abril de 2011) de la serie con más premios Emmy de la historia, convertida en uno de los mayores fenómenos mundiales de la pequeña pantalla.

Desde esta semana, el catálogo de HBO Max incluye un nuevo panel con más de 150 vídeos de entrevistas, momentos del rodaje y otras escenas no emitidas hasta la fecha, aseguró la compañía, la cual prepara hasta cinco secuelas del formato que comenzarán a ver la luz en 2022.

Además, el 10 de abril el canal televisivo emitirá un maratón -llamado «MaraThrone»- de la primera temporada de la serie, mientras que el reparto de la ficción apoyará diez causas benéficas con el visionado de los siguientes capítulos.

Asimismo, HBO ha preparado seis itinerarios diferentes de los episodios para ver «Juego de tronos» según diferentes temáticas, desde un recorrido por las mejores batallas a la historia de la Madre de Dragones.

Finalmente, la marca de cerveza Mikkeller lanzará una bebida conmemorativa del aniversario, entre otros productos especiales, como nuevas figuras Funko y un huevo imperial de la joyería Fabergé.

LA FIEBRE POR «JUEGO DE TRONOS» NO REMITE

La semana pasada se conoció que el creador de «Juego de tronos», George R.R. Martin, está preparando una adaptación de la serie en formato teatral para Broadway, cuyo estreno se estima para 2023.

Martin también ha firmado un acuerdo de colaboración con HBO por cinco años y un valor estimado de más de 42 millones de euros que incluye el desarrollo de varias secuelas de la serie.

La primera serie derivada, «House of the Dragon», tiene previsto estrenarse en 2022 con una historia inspirada en el libro «Fuego y sangre» (2018) y que se adentra en la historia de los Targaryen.
