El presidente de la Comisión de la Asamblea Nacional para la Designación del nuevo CNE, Giuseppe Alessandrello, informó durante una entrevista concedida al programa Al Aire, transmitido por Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), que para el próximo 27 de abril se entregará a la Asamblea Nacional la lista de elegibles al Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE).
“La cantidad de ciudadanos que han sido postulados y han aceptado esas postulaciones, ha batido un récord. Nunca antes ha habido un número tan elevado de ciudadanos postulados”, expresó Alessandrello.
Alessandrello, indicó que el número representa 64% de las 114 postulaciones electorales recibidas y estudiadas. De las 75 postulaciones que superaron esta etapa 47 pertenecen a la sociedad civil, 10 a las universidades y 18 al Poder Ciudadano.
Luego de que la lista bajó a 74 candidatos por la renuncia de uno de ellos, Alessandrello, informó que la lista se redujo a 67 candidatos, como resultado de las impugnaciones.
Indicó que durante el lapso de seis días a partir de la publicación del listado de aspirantes al ente comicial el Comité recibió 46 objeciones, de las cuales solo se aceptaron siete. No precisó cuáles candidaturas fueron descartadas.
El diputado resaltó que la instancia legislativa la cual preside, está conformado por 21 miembros de los cuales 11 son diputados que representan los 2 bloques políticos que hacen vida en la AN y 10 son una representación de la sociedad civil.
