El presidente de Fedenaga, Armando Chacín, dijo que, tras reunirse con el presidente Maduro el pasado miércoles, espera que el día de hoy el Gobierno tome algunas medidas en favor de los productores.
Cree que el Presidente de la República fue receptivo en el encuentro.
Explicó que se planteó al Jefe de Estado las necesidades del sector sobre seguridad jurídica, la inseguridad personal en el campo y la falta de diésel.
Según Chacín, los ganaderos tienen una parálisis técnica y si no se alimenta el rebaño, no se podrán tener unas vacas sanas en verano.
El vocero de Fedenaga sostuvo que se debe aprovechar de apuntar hacia mercados externos mientras no se recupera el consumo interno de carne de res.
Chacín dijo que hay una distorsión en el precio del queso y mientras al productor se paga hasta 1,3 dólares por kilo, los comerciantes llegan a cobrar 3,5 dólares.
