Alcaldía trabaja en la arborización y embellecimiento del parque Metropolitano
En la celebración de los 200 años de la batalla de Carabobo y como parte del Día del Ambiente, la alcaldía de Carirubana lleva adelante el rescate de las áreas del parque Metropolitano de Punto Fijo.

Para ello, este fin de semana –con la presencia del alcalde Alcides Goitía, se continuó con la siembra de más de 200 árboles para volver a la arborización de este espacio de recreación y esparcimiento.

Goitía destacó la meta que desde el gobierno municipal se han trazado para el rescate del parque Metropolitano, en esta ocasión con el apoyo de PDVSA y empresas privadas de la zona.

“Le agradecemos a PDVSA y a las empresas privadas que colaboran en la donación de plantas y semillas para la arborización de este importante parque; como parte de las actividades de este año bicentenario, del que siempre nos habló nuestro comandante Chávez”, destacó el alcalde.

Desde el PSUV, el gobierno nacional, regional y municipal han determinado varias actividades entre las que destacan Siembra un árbol, siembra un bosque. Además de la arborización, durante la semana se han llevado adelante actividades para el embellecimiento del parque, como recolección de desechos sólidos con la colaboración de grupos ambientalistas.

El alcalde aprovechó la oportunidad para instar a la colectividad a cuidar y proteger los espacios recreativos.
