Con una concentración y posterior caminata el abanderado de la MUD por el estado Zulia, Manuel Rosales, formalizó este viernes 3 de septiembre su postulación ante el Consejo Nacional Electoral.
Rosales, realizó una caminata de unos dos kilómetros hasta el ente comicial, acompañado por cientos de simpatizantes de su partido UNT y de otras 16 organizaciones políticas que apoyan su candidatura al Palacio de los Cóndores.
El recorrido del exgobernador, partió desde la avenida 12, esquina del Colegio Altamira, siguió hacia el sector Doral Norte, cruzó la avenida “Paúl Moreno” (Fuerzas Armadas) hasta llegar al órgano comicial ubicado en la avenida Milagro Norte de Maracaibo.
Manuel Antonio Rosales Guerrero, fue alcalde de Maracaibo por tres períodos y gobernador del estado Zulia por dos lapsos consecutivos. Fue el principal adversario de Hugo Chávez en la elección presidencial de 2006.
