En las instalaciones del Complejo Cultural María Díaz Borges, se convocó a varias personas con la finalidad de conformar los clubes de Baile Deportivo, lo que significará que el municipio Los Taques será pionera en esta disciplina deportiva en el estado Falcón, así lo informó José “Chelique” Zea, jefe de Deporte adscrito al Instituto de Turismo, Cultura y Deporte de la Alcaldía de Los Taques.
Indicó Zea que es una disciplina nueva que se está creando en el país, pero ya varios estados están organizando, también señaló que cuenta con numerosas federaciones internacionales, en incluso ostenta la categoría de deporte olímpico desde el 2018 y como en cualquier estilo baile o en cualquier deporte, se deben seguir unas reglas y pautas para su correcto desempeño.
Dijo que esta disciplina deportiva no es Danza, consiste en varios estilos de bailes estándar, Latinos como la Salsa Casino, “podrá estar en cualquier lugar de las dos Parroquias del municipio Los Taques, en plazas, parques gimnasio el Águila, calles o el complejo Cultural María Díaz Borges” Recalcó Chelique.
En tal sentido José “Chelique” Zea, jefe de Deporte del Municipio , “exhortó a las personas de las dos Parroquias de Los Taques a organizarse para la conformación de los Clubes de Baile Deportivo y así organizar eventos municipales para estar preparado a representar al estado Falcón en eventos nacionales e internacionales”.
