Tras el robo de 203 mil dólares pertenecientes a la compañía aseguradora Mercantil Seguros C.A., ubicada en el municipio Girardot, Maracay, estado Aragua, se logró la detención de dos autores materiales.
Los sujetos, identificados como: Zeusy Ernesto Gómez Lagarde y Jesús Rafael Navas Lugo. llegaron a la compañía, haciéndose pasar por corredores de seguros, una vez dentro de las instalaciones, desenfundaron armas de fuego y bajo amenaza de muerte, obligaron a unos de los empleados a trasladarlos hasta la bóveda de seguridad, de donde sustrajeron el dinero.
Funcionarios de la División y la Delegación Municipal Maracay, efectuaron las investigaciones, las cuales arrojaron que estos antisociales 203 mil dólares americanos, para luego huir con el botín.
Zeusy Gómez, cooperó para perpetrar el atraco, aportando información sobre la seguridad del lugar y movimientos administrativos y financieros, ya que laboraba como mensajero del corredor principal de Mercantil Seguros.
Reporte confidencial informa que continúan con las investigaciones para dar con el paradero de dos antisociales en fuga, Orlando Antonio Toyo Vilera y Jorge Guzmán, y recuperar el dinero sustraído.
