Un individuo que pretendía cometer un hurto en las instalaciones de la Universidad  del Zulia en Punto Fijo fue aprehendido por funcionarios del Centro de Coordinación Policial N°2 de Polifalcón.

Se conoció a través de un nota de prensa de Polifalcón, que  aproximadamente a las 2:00 de la madrugada de este el vigilante de la referida casa de estudios informó en una llamada telefónica sobre la presencia de varios sujetos en el lugar.

De inmediato una comisión de uniformados se hizo presente en la universidad y logró la aprehensión de un sujeto de 25 años, obrero y con residencia en Antiguo Aeropuerto, quien al ser verificado por el Sipol registró un antecedente por el delito de ocultamiento de arma de fuego del 3 de marzo del año 2011.

El mismo pretendia hurtar una impresora multifuncional, dos monitores, dos CPU Y dos teclados de computadora.

El caso fue puesto a la orden de la fiscalía VI del Ministerio Público.
