Moreno, alto y delgado, cabello pincho y de camisa roja, así fue descrito el delincuente que andaba con una mujer de baja estatura y dientes pronunciados, vestida de verde, quienes le solicitaron la carrera a un taxista y en la entrada del barrio San José, por el lado de la variante Sur, lo hirieron para robarlo.
José Gregorio Sánchez, de 27 años, recibió una disparo en el abdomen al ser despojado de sus pertenencias y Chevrolet Spark azul en el que trabajaba como taxista por antes de la media noche de miércoles para jueves. Sánchez ingresó por su cuenta al ambulatorio del sector San José desde donde reportó el robo de su vehículo que funcionarios de Polimiranda recuperaron en calidad de abandono a las 12:00 am en la avenida Ramón Antonio Medina de Coro, con calle Managua, sector San José.
El taxista fue referido al Hospital de Coro y aunque en la tarde se decía que había fallecido, afortunadamente sigue vivo pero delicado.
