Muchos estaban al tanto de su accionar delictivo en la avenida Bolívar del municipio Carirubana, también que se refugiaba en un terreno baldío cercano, donde justamente lo detuvo la delegación municipal del Cicpc.
«Ahí lo encontrarán, le dicen Luisito», dijo por mensajería privada la persona que reportó al director nacional del Cicpc, comisario general Douglas Rico, lo que venían haciendo el hombre que en el pasado había sido detenido por un caso con drogas y porte ilícito de arma de fuego.
Como evidencias del hurto y robo de material estratégico, así como daños a la empresa Cantv, la comisión le incautó seis trozos de cable o conductor eléctrico del que extraería el cobre para venderlo por kilos a las mafias que se lucran de este modalidad delictiva.
El detenido quedó a orden del Ministerio Público.
